The Board Series Workshop

The Board Series Workshop —

The Board Series Workshop

Foellinger Foundation partnered with Aly Sterling Philanthropy to offer The Board Series™, a three-part workshop designed to strengthen nonprofit governance and build more engaged, mission-focused boards. The invitation-only series brought together an executive and board leader from each participating grantee organization for shared learning and practical application. Held over three mornings in April 2026, the sessions explored board roles and responsibilities, recruitment and orientation, mission engagement, fundraising, and sustainable governance. Participants received practical tools and templates, along with a personalized coaching session to help their organizations apply what they learned.
