2026 Conflict Resolution Training Workshop

2026 Conflict Resolution Training Workshop —

2026 Conflict Resolution Training Workshop

Foellinger Foundation partnered with ULEAD, Inc. to present Dancing with Conflict, an interactive professional development workshop designed to help nonprofit leaders approach difficult conversations with greater clarity, compassion, and confidence. Offered in two sessions on March 10–11, 2026, at the Parkview Mirro Center, the training gave grantee partners the flexibility to select the session that best fit their schedules. Using dance as a metaphor for navigating conflict, participants explored four core practices—connection, clarity, curiosity, and commitment. Role-playing exercises and skill-development activities helped attendees reframe conflict as an opportunity for collaboration, practice giving and receiving feedback, and develop leadership habits they could apply immediately within their organizations.

  • Developed the planning timeline, budget, and operational plan.

  • Coordinated the venue, room setup, catering, audiovisual needs, and workshop materials.

  • Managed invitations, registration, attendee communications, dietary needs, and session assignments.

  • Served as the primary liaison among ULEAD, Foundation staff, venue personnel, vendors, and attendees.

  • Reviewed and approved the branded invitation designed by One Lucky Guitar.

  • Developed the event schedule and coordinating facilitator requirements and program transitions.

  • Led on-site setup, attendee check-in, vendor coordination, and troubleshooting for both sessions.

  • Managed post-event follow-up, evaluation, and invoice reconciliation.
